Schedule

Open, flexible scheduling Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 2:30pm.

Individual students or student groups (up to three students per group) may come any time to the library during class with a pass from their teacher.

Teachers may bring whole classes or large groups to use the library facilities and/or resources after confirming availability of the library with Miss Tyler.

After planning a collaborative lesson with Miss Tyler, the teacher may bring a class for an information literacy or technology instruction.

Teachers may plan meetings, workshops, or other gatherings before, during and after school.

Circulation Policy

Students are allowed to check out up to four printed titles and one electronic book for a two week time period.

Lost or damaged materials should be brought to Miss Tyler's attention immediately. It will be the responsibility of the student to pay for the replacement

cost of any damaged or lost materials. Note: special permission may be granted for additional checkouts.

Faculty, staff, and parents are allowed to check out printed and electronic materials, DVDs, and class sets as needed.

Fines

Students will not be charged fines for late books. However, students are encouraged to return or renew books promptly so that other patrons have access to these materials.

Services

Students may place titles on hold in Destiny. Once the title becomes available, the titles will be checked out to the patron.

Patrons have access to black and white printing at a cost of ten cents per page.

Computers may be used during school hours with a pass from teachers and after school until 3:00 pm. All computers have internet access.

The media specialist will also assist all patrons with usernames and passwords for programs used within the school system.

Students are rewarded quarterly for achieving AR goals. Students who read a million words or more by the first week in May as determined through the AR program will be rewarded

and become a member of the Millionaires’ Club.
